The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.
SASSA might be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it's alarmed about the large variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no website entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance point produced for intervention encounters a large influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
